I agree with Azade.
What I find so amazing though is the readiness of people like Femme to continually poke fun at the victims of the opressors. Every quip, every throw away line, every comic analogy . . . does nothing to hurt the opressors, but simply humiliates and ridicules those who feel opressed. How on earth are victims ever going to feel supported ?
There are those here who go mental at the mere mention of a blonde joke yet happily participate in tasteless mockery of any opressed eastern woman. You are deluded if you think you are mocking only the men. Every time you mock the men/regimes you despise you also mock any woman who is feeling opressed and trapped by those men and those regimes.
Of course we also have members who take pride in arguing for arguments sake (by their own admission they do this). I'm sure there are many women out there who would like the freedom to do this. Freedom to speak shouldn't be abused by such practice, it should be used sincerely and responsibly.

This is directed to me. First - I do NOT go mental at the mention of a blonde joke!!! Are you unable to tell when people are having fun?
Second... this is a discussion forum, not a United Nations conference. Please stop taking everything so seriously!!
