wouldnt it be, "kim olmak isterdin"??
i know that this here is the direct translation but i would have thought that using "kim" would be better

bir gunluk yasamın olsaydı, ne olmak isterdin?
is much more used question.. if you say "kim" you would narrow down the answers on directly to popular ppl you have known or seen.. thats why i chose "ne olmak isterdin"
