Hi everyone.

I thought instead of just asking for translation and not learning anything from it I would attempt eng to turkish.

I know that it will not be good, but wondered if someone could read it and then let me know where I went wrong and correct me, so i can learn for next time. Many thanks.

Hello, hope you and your family are well.
Merhaba, umut seni ve senin aile sin kuyu.

Ben olmak konuslan ye Memit carsamba sabah.
I have spoken to Memit Wednesday morning. (bunu does this mean "this"?)

He is a very special man.

Hello, hope you and your family are well.
Merhaba, umarım sen ve ailen iyisinizdir. (iyi is well/good-kuyu is the well that has water in it)

Çarşamba sabahı Memit'le konuştum.
I have spoken to Memit Wednesday morning.

I hope that he will be alright.
Umarım o iyileşir.

I will miss him.
Ben onu özleyeceğim. (will as an auxiliary verb in turkish is met by the suffix -ecek-->özlemek-->özleyeceğim)

15 months will go quickly hopefully.
on bes ay çabuk geçecek umarım

and i will write to him
ve ben ona yazacağım

He is a very special man.
O çok özel bir adam(dır). (auxiliary verbs are always at the end in Turkish)

I would like to practice turkish
Türkçe pratik yapmak istiyorum. (verbs are also at the end usually)

Would you mind if I keep in touch with you and your family?
Seninle ve seni ailenle iletişime devam etmemde sakınca var mı?

best wishes always.
daima en iyi dileklerimle

Hello, hope you and your family are well.
Merhaba, umut seni ve senin aile sin kuyu.

Merhaba, umarım ki sen ve ailen iyisiniz

(kuyu = well as in a well dug in the ground for water.
İyi = good i.e. well as an adjective)

Ben olmak konuslan ye Memit carsamba sabah.
I have spoken to Memit Wednesday morning. (bunu does this mean "this"?)

Çarşamba sabah Memit'le konuştum

(to speak with someone: .... ile konuşmak
konuş: speak
konuştu: he spoke
konuştum: I spoke)

I hope that he will be alright.
Ben umut kadar o irade olmak petis.

Umarım ki iyi olacak

(Umut is hope as a noun, not a verb
Ummak: to hope
Umarım: I hope)

I will miss him.
Ben lrade ozlemek onu.

Onu özleyeceğim

(İrade is will as a noun e.g. free-will.
Will as in future tense: -cek is added to a verb
Özlemek: to miss
Özleyecek: he will miss
Özleyeceğim: I will miss)

15 months will go quickly hopefully.
on bes ay irade gitmek cabucak umut verici.

İnşallah 15 ay çabuk geçer

(İnşallah - God willing - is more natural than Umut verici)

and i will write to him
ve ben irade yazmak ye onu.

Ve ona yazacağım

He is a very special man.
O dir pekbek ozel adam.

O çok özel biri

Well done! Best of luck with your friend, and learning Turkish! The lessons on this site should help explain some of the grammar.
