Quoting brinanator:

ozledim de burnumdada tutmuyo yani

My attempt. (It seems like there must be some context missing)[made a correction missed the mu in tumuyo)

I have longed also for, within my nose namely, the (not) touching.

This is the sentence to be translated, in correct Turkish. It will be interesting to see attempts by other learners of the language.

özledim de, burnumda da tütmüyor yani.

Hmm..burunda tütmek means to crave

özledim de - I missed too

burumda tütmüyor yani - but not crave/yearn?

Wouldn't it be more logical to say: burnumda da tütüyor? ie and crave/yearn too?

At least on this forum "logic" maybe isn't really the point. lol

TRY again...

HINT 1:
"Burnumda tutuyor" is a stronger expression for craving compared to "ozledim".

HINT 2:
"de" after "ozledim", does NOT mean "too" in this context.

"I longed for, that is to say I craved"
