(Novelist) came as a child with her parents to Germany. She studied political science and journalism in Munich, after which she volunteered with the ZDF network. She has worked there since as an editor and television moderator.

Following her correspondence activities both in Germany and abroad, she became the moderator of a ZDF programme on European themes. She lives in Mainz and Istanbul.
