I sent a package (birthday present) on the 5th February, and it STILL hasnt arrived. Should i give up on any hope and assume its been lost?

Tell the person who you sent it to to go to the PTT (post office) and ask if there is a package for them. Sometimes if the person is not home when the package is delivered it is taken back to the PTT. Delivery times vary greatly depending on what you send and what part of Turkey you send it to. In my experience packages sent by international signed for always take 10 days to arrive and have to be collected from the PTT.
