Just thought I'd say how fabulous Binnurs Turkish Cookbook site is for turkish recipes.
I am not really a great cook at all and could barely manage egg on toast at one point but this site really simplifies things and gives you plenty of pictures too so you can see if it resembles anything like what you are supposed to be making. Also Binnur responds quite promptly to any questions you have which is really nice.
I recommend trying the Sekerpare it has always turned out wonderful for me.
OH and it is written in both english and turkish too.
