 Both are called a funeral - in one you are buried, in another you are cremated.  Actually it is most common in the UK to be cremated.  I have never actually been to a burial - I don´t think I like the idea of being buried in the ground and my loved ones having to take care of my grave

Yeah... burning is better - I will probably burn where I am going anyway!

 Is it? I did not realise that, I have been to more burials than I have cremations............. and when you are cremated sometimes you can also have your ashes buried as opposed to being scattered.  And recently our town has had to have new bigger ovens as people are getting so fat they would not fit into the normal size oven!!!

HeHe so stop eating the flatbreads now, before you need a bigger oven {#lang_emotions_shy}

I too wondered about AEnigma´s claim.......

More burials than burnings have been attended by me also.

Hahaha "claim"?!

It is a fact that more than 70% of people in the UK choose to be cremated rather than buried.  Which is just as well - we don´t have enough space in the UK to dedicate to billions of graves!!!

Geçmiþ olsun, Canlý!

I have never attended a cremation, just old-fashioned burials. Cremation is not very popular in Poland and people kind of love taking care of their relatives´ graves. Yet, I´d prefer to be cremated after all my organs (if they´re of any use) have been donated and/or my body can as well be given students of medicine to learn. I don´t care much what will happen to my body after my death.

Oh, it´s a mood thread {#lang_emotions_wtf} so..Today I´m happy. Mr Daydreamer stayed at home and took our boy to our GP for a vaccination (there´s NO way I could do it without sobbing so it was way better this way) and we decorated our Xmas tree
