I can not stand those type of people to be honest.. Lower than the lowest!!
Well he is. He can´t say a sentence without cursing, swearing, using f-words, wishing other people deathly diseases, calling women whores etc. He was rapported before but apparently that didn´t stop him.

I feel both shocked and mad. Last Friday one of the employees of my company in the cafeteria made a horrible remark out loud about Jews and gas chambers. I reported that remark because our company policy does not allow any type of aggression, discrimination and racism (the company must have that, over 60% is from foreign descent). Today the man I reported came to me in the cafetaria and told me ´he knew how to get me and he would keep track of me´. It felt quite threatening, that guy standing very close, waving his fingers almost in my face. Happily there were witnesses and I hope that when tomorrow his supervisor is back something will be done.
Trudy that sounds awful, what a dispicable person he is to say that. What is wrong with people, I really don´t understand. I hope you are OK though.
I just read your second post - what a total w******

Thanks. The shocked feeling I had this afternoon is going away slowly (and will be gone totally after TheH. has hold my hand... ). I just wish something will be done tomorrow to avoid him or other people showing that type of behaviour again. There are more of this type of ´sweeties´ in my working place...

Where do you work Trudy? I thought that type of behavior was illegal in most of Europe.

If he has already been reported for similar comments has continued making them he should have been fired when you reported this incident. And now he has threatened you? He should have been fired immediately for that! Why do they need to wait for his supervisor to return????
I´m also shocked that he knew you were the one who reported him!!!
Just be careful Trudy.

I will, thanks. He knows it was me, because he saw me entering the office.
The problem is that some people working at my company are not ordinary employees but people with a handicap (physical, mental, emotional or psychiatric). These people have a special type of ´status´ and can´t (by law) not as easy be fired as other workers. I don´t know what the handicap of this man is (I don´t want to know!) but I do know he belongs to that group.

Yeah people with disabilities are in a protected status but threats should not fall under protections.
My employer has a zero tolerence policy. I once fired someone just for saying she was going to slap another employee.
