Fairplay to you if you´re able to understand the accent up there! I remember going on holidays one year to Spain when I was about 12 and I made friends with some girls (they were sisters) from Cavan and I could barely understand a bloody word they said {#emotions_dlg.lol}

It took me about 2 years to get used to it, still I´m having trouble understanding my postman sometimes lol And the people here say the same about the Dublin accent - most of them complain it´s terrible

 And they´d be dead right lol, some of the Dublin accents are appalling, even I have trouble understanding some people {#emotions_dlg.lol}.  There are loads of different accents in Dublin, a ridiculous amount for such a small place haha, and Dubliners even have their own particular language, ´Dublinese´, it´s a wonder anyone can understand us at all {#emotions_dlg.lol}

Worry not, Ally - soon you´ll all have to learn Polish anyway lol Otherwise you´ll have no chance of ordering a coffee or a sandwich at lunchtime {#emotions_dlg.super_cool}

I´d love to see the Paddy invasion of Poland lol Too bad, it´s not likely to happen. I think the UK, Canada or Oz should be more concerned

 They had their Paddy invasion a couple of centuries ago!  The American accent is basically loose Irish, the Australian accent is loose Cockney London and Canada........mix of French and English and Irish

History repeats itself, honey Judging by the present situation on the job market in Ireland, many people will be emigrating again. I´m sure your Irish gardener´s circle of friends will grow soon

My mood is rather contented. A friend gave me a birthday present of a 15 year old malt which has been going down a treat. {#emotions_dlg.alcoholics}
