in the middle of other things, Hande is following me. ??

Sounds weird to me - I read it as:

By the way Hande, what foot?

Yes it sound weird when it is translated literally.

It means
What is Hande up to, by the way?
or
What's up with Hande, by the way?

"Ne ayak?" is slangish.
