Hi all
I am moving to Istanbul at the end of April 2008 and would welcome any advice or suggestions from members on what I can do to bring in some income while I am there.

I am finally to be with my dear wife Nesrin and live in Turkey for two years before coming back and settling in the U.K. I would like to work and anything I do during my two years in Istanbul will be a bonus because we will have more income coming in. I am not having much success obtaining any work or advice for earning an honest wage while I am living with my wife. Nesrin said if I could earn around 100 Lira a week this would help enourmously, of course in England this is very little but this would help us of course it is the minimum amount and would like to earn more but I am being realistic. I would welcome any input on this subject thanks in advance

I don't have any advice for working in Istanbul....but I can only tell you that I have a feeling everything will work out for you. I know you have worked in a hospital setting, so might I suggest going to the American Hospital in Istanbul and seeing if they have openings? I know there are several other hospitals in Istanbul as well.

Here is a link that lists hospitals in Turkey. You never know...you might be exactly what they are looking for!!
