Hello Herkes,
Please could somebody, please, please give me some advice.
I am english and am strongly thinking about moving to turkey.
I have excellent office skills and wondered if anybody could tell me please what my chances are of finding work in Turkey.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

i think u may find job especially in the companies which work internationally...if u know turkısh too it would be great...anyway i think u may find job but i dont think it would be easy....u should search much...the companies work in istanbul on import -export...who knows if u have some connections with these companies u may find easily...good luck....hope ur dreams come true....and run after ur dreams dont give up easily....follow ur heart

as you are native english you can work in language schools as well... this can be the best at first while you learn some turkish then you can work with your skills.. as there is lots of international companies... as i said before language schools could be better at first..

Also look at selling houses,for private developing companies.The holiday housing market in Turkey is booming at the moment.I know a few people from the U.K who have moved out there, especially around Antalya. I heard the other day that someone has built a small complex for native Brits and they only use sterling within the complex maybe someone could clarify this?

Are you serious? Oooo it makes me so mad. Why do Brits want to move to Turkey and then surround themselves with other Brits and use their "own" currency!! lol. Hell, how embarassed I am to be British sometimes :-S

Yeah, Belgium has a history with Spain too. I even think we have a couple of enclaves there
Hotels trying to attract people with "Belgian staff and Belgian cuisine"..
But it's mainly older people going to those kind of places I think. People spending the winter months there and stuff.
