YAPRAK DÖKÜMÜ

Sararıp dökülmeden önce kızaran yapraklar ki onlar
Şan verdiler ortalığa bütün bir sonbahar

Mevsim dönüp de yeniden yeşermeğe başlayınca rüzgar
Çıplaklığında o atın yine onlar koşacaklar
O çocuklar
O yapraklar
O şarabi eşkiyalar

Onlar da olmasa benim gayrı kimim var?

============================

Fall of leaves

they were the reddened leaves, before yellowing and fell
and the splendor of autumn, overall

When the season changes and the wind becomes vigorous again
They will be the ones running with the nakedness of that horse once more
Those boys
Those leaves
And those romantic rebels

if not them, who else would I have?
==========
My attempt as usual.
Today is world poetry day btw.
note: as soon as I find the professional translation of this poem I will post.

======
Leaf Fall

Those leaves that turned red before they yellowed and fell
all through the autumn put on a splendid display

As the season turned and the wind began to refreshen again
In the nakedness of that horse it's them who will run
those childeren
those leaves
those wine-reddened brigands

Without them who else would I have
