to tell you the truth all I know what it is in english but all actors are turks and some of the film was taken in parts of germany and some parts were taken in istanbul, that's all I know

That was the first one that came to my mind. Here in Europe it has been a very popular movie.

And as you describe, the plot is set to both Germany and Istanbul!
