Unlike some, I do not look at life as one long joke.

Life doesn't have to be a depressive, boring narrative. My life is full of color and fun and free will and love and humor with a mix of seriousness. You see, the difference is, I don't let the seriousness cloud everything else in my life. It's a choice.
Maybe you should try it sometime. You might actually enjoy yourself!

How your life is is not the point. The point is making fun of other people's culture. Making a joke out of revered cultural traditions is the point. There is nothing wrong with humor, but one should be mindful of at what expense that humor comes.

As to the humor or joy in my personal life or yours, that is a personal matter and not part of this discussion.

There is nothing wrong with humor as long as it adheres to your high moral standards? Your personal feelings about what is funny and what is not are hardly relevant either!!!

i think the main mistake critising or judging another culture with our own cultural minds, and i think thats the reason of many troubles or problems of today between different cultures. But everything would be more easier and useful with the help of tolerated and understanding critism, and thats better to find answers of realities of all differences, even if they r very very odd or strange for us..

Well, I don't consider belittling others culture to be funny. Evidently we have different ideas about what is acceptable to make a joke out of.

It's because you see it as belittling, we don't.

I can see what you are trying to say. You want to respect what they want you to respect and you don't want to hurt their feelings. You think you are culturally sensitive, but in reality you are only being culturally "sensitive" to one side. Just because we don't attack, don't kill, don't rage, don't get personally insulted when you are insensitive to our values of free speech and free criticism doesn't give you the right to abuse us and abuse our tolerance and tell us that you are morally superior because you "respect other cultures, while we don't" and that we have to do things the same way you do.
