I'm certain that in Turkey do not weigh things in "pounds" like we do in the USA. How would express the average weight of a man and a women? Would it be in Kilograms?

Thanks!

Yes, it is kg. Also we use the Turkish words kilogram, gram, metre, kilometre etc. with Turkish pronounciation.

Kilogram is usually shortened as "kilo".

"Sen kaç kilosun?"
"Ben 80 kiloyum."
"Bugünlerde çok kilo verdim."
"Çok kilo aldım."
