It means can or to be able to.

In the simplest form, I can swim, you can dance etc, the -abil or -ebil is put after the verb stem. Then you add the ending that shows which person it is.

e.g.

Yüzebilirim : I can swim

Dans edebilirsin: you can dance

We use -ebil or -abil depending on vowel harmony of the verb stem

e.g.

Yapabiliriz : We can make

Hi Evren

As one learner to another ... if you remember the use of 'able' in English ... it can be of help. Although it is just a coincidence, but a great prop for English speakers.

I am able to ..> -ebil-ir-im
I am going to be able to ..> -ebilecegim
I was able to ..> -ebil-ir-dim

But also remember [Not able to ...] has no "-ebil" in it.

I hope this will help. However, make sure you have proper help from the experts!!!
