We need to add "ago".
Dört hafta önce başladım.
Ama biraz biliyorum: implies that considering I only started 4 weeks ago I know some Turkish (proud of yourself).
If you want it to be more of an excuse, change ama to sadece. I only know a little Turkish.
English is ambiguous: both could be right. You choose the one you want!
