Please can an expert translate T>E exactly [as possible]:-
"Beni Ingiliz-Turk Dostluk Derneği Başkanıyle görüştürür musunuz?"
I have difficulty understanding 'görüştürür' >> it is amixture of 'causative suffix' & a 'reflexive/passive suffix' [-tür-ür]?
So what would be the meaning of:-
Tanitirir misiniz?
Yetiştirir misiniz?
Durdurur misiniz?
Yikatirir misiniz? ... etc?
Dilbilenler, tesekkurler. Tazx1

Hello Tazx1,
You're very close to learn it
First, it's translation: 'Could you meet me with the President of English-Turkish Amity Organization.'
görüştürür: gör-üş-tür-ür
-tür is causative suffix, as you said. And -ür is present tense suffix. It's just easy, there is nothing complex
And your examples:
Tanitirir misiniz? --> Tanıtır mısınız? --> Tanı-t-ır
Yetiştirir misiniz? --> Yetiştirir misiniz? --> Yet-iş-tir-ir
Durdurur misiniz? --> Durdurur musunuz? --> Dur-dur-ur
Yikatirir misiniz? --> Yıkatır mısınız? --> Yıka-t-ır
2nd and 3rd examples are correct.
Verb + causative suffix + present tense suffix + mısınız?(musunuz, etc...)

Please arrange for me to talk to the Chairperson of the English-Turkish Friendship Association.
Or, if you are talking to the receptionist on the phone:
Can you arrange for me to talk to the Chairperson of the English-Turkish Friendship Association.
or

A meaningful translation into English is always a little bit different for each verb
Tanitirir misiniz? Please introduce (lit: please make known)
Yetiştirir misiniz? Can you reach it/ get it done in time (lit: make it get on time)
Durdurur misiniz? Please stop (something that is moving e.g. arabayı durudurur mısınız: please stop the car - literally make the car stop)
Yikatirir misiniz? Please get this washed (lit: please make this be washed, usually a request to someone to get a third person to wash something. e.g. tell your boyfriend to take his car to the car wash to get them to wash it there).
Baktırır mısınız? Can you get someone to have a look at this. (lit: make someone look)
Ablama ev ödevimi yaptırdım: I got my older sister to do my homework. (lit: make someone do)

Faruk, Marionin
God bless you. You are generous beyond description for giving me so much of your blessed time and explaining things.
Actually just after posting this query, it 'clicked' >> and as Faruk mentions 'I am close to understanding it'. MarioniT's explanation has, finally, established ans 'taninmasini sağaldi'.
When I am finished [if ever], I'll light a big bonfire and invite you all.
Tesekkurler [see I remember your correction, MarioninT]
