Quoting catwoman: Quoting Lapinkulta: I dont think that turkish women havent got any problem...I wanna tell u that u have same problem as well..then while u criticise turkey cruelly,u should look at your own country firstly... |
You are not a woman so it's not your business to speak about women's rights dear.
I do look at my own country as well and criticize them cruelly (they don't swear at me for that though). What I find is that women's rights in Turkey are still in a worse condition. |
thanks god Im not woman

Am I missing something here? What does this have to do with womens rights? Clearly these children were taken away during an investigative matter of child abuse etc.. Which goes on everyday, sadly. I think our society however should have better conditions for these children while they investigate. There is no simple solution to this, since the consistancy of reported abuse cases aren't investigated half the time. I think the question is when and how should the government intervene when the suspection of an abuse takes place.
I don't think you can compare womens rights in the U.S. to Turkey. Again. we do have many problems here but not to the extent of Turkey.

First of all, the Westerners here have never claimed our countries are perfect and don't have issues.
Secondly, you seem to have missed a incredibly important point in the story here....the government stepped in and took all 416 children out of that environment because of abuse!!! The adults there were doing terrible and unlawful things and the vast majority of people here do not condone what was happening in that compound!!!
The only thing you have succeeded in proving by posting this is an obvious contempt of the West and that you will look for anything you can find to try to put it down.
You might want to try reading a bit deeper into the things you find though.

Perhaps Lapin didn't understand this article. It was about a righteous decision of a court to take away abused (or, even, allegedly abused) children away.
This is a good thing about the US judicial mechanism, degil mi?
Also, it stated clearly at the end, that polygamy is illegal in the US. So, what happened there, was separating minors from parents occupied in illegal procedures that may be harmful to the kids.
What does it have to do with women's rights? Adults were there out of their own consent and minors have been taken away by the police and thus had their rights protected...

So . . . according to you: Islam is none of your business, men are none of your business and Turkish issues are none of your business. These are only a few of the topics that are none of your business as you are not a Muslim, a man or Turkish...
