How do I say:
Why are you not going with Lisa? Lisa is going to this event. I think you have to go, because you are not going to FL too. It is Mehmet and Sibel favorite DJ. I think Sibel is going. Check the website

Neden Lisa'la gitmeyeceksin? Lisa bu haka gidecek. Sanirim gitmen lazım, cünkü FL daha gitmeyeceksın. O Mehmet ve Sibel'nin çok sevilen DJ. Sibel gidecek sanirim.

I would just like to ask the experts if it should all be written in the future tense?
(I would have used the present continuous)
Also I would have used the imperative for 'check' not the present.
Would any grammarians like to comment please?

I used the future because it appeared to be something happening in the future but I think you are right that present could be used. I didn't use imperative because I didn't think she was ORDERING him/her to look at the website!!

You could always use the polite form of the imperative-He He.
As for the other-if I say to friends 'I'm going to Turkey next week' I would use 'gidiyorum'even though it is in the future.
Hey-I'm learning too so it all helps!

Neden Lisa ile gitmiyorsun? Lisa bu etkinliğie gidecek. Bence gitmelisin, çünkü sen de FL'ye gitmeyeceksin. Mehmet ve Sibel en gözde DJler. Galiba Sibel gidiyor. Siteye bir bak.
