Christian catacombs were recently discovered near Murat Pasa Camii in the Istanbul area of Aksaray. Some years ago police had closed off the area, because thieves had plundered the place. These catacombs consisted of 9 vaulted chambers.
Are they now open to the public? Appreciate replies.

No, I haven't seen anything about it. I live in close to Murat Paşa Camii but the area is still closed. And municipality is still excavating the area for subway. Of course, they don't damage catacombs
