neler yapıyorsun neden yazmıyorsun?yoksa farkında olmadan birşey mi yaptım.
ben kısa bir tatil yaptım yoktum 10 gün kadar meğer ne çok tatile ihtiyaçım varmış.
seni şimdilik kocaman öpüyorum sevgilerimi gönderiyorum.....

What are you doing? Why do you not write?
Or did I do something without being aware of it?
I took a short holiday,I wasn't there for 10 days apparently I really needed a holiday.(not sure about that)

I agree with your translation "varmiş" just makes "I needed a holiday a little less "definite". imho
