Bindigimiz tren= the train which we got onto

Here, i see that "the" is included in the english translation although there is no suffix on the word "tren"..?? Can this be correct?? Is there any time when there could be a suffix on a word in a sentence like this..??

Bindiğimiz trenin makinisti : The operator of the train which we got into

Bindiğimiz trende herşey daha güzeldi : Everthing was better in the train we took before
