A Turkish friend who hardly speaks my language, so he can't explain it himself, gave me this poem. Can anyone please translate it for me? Thank you for your efforts in advance.

Yalan gercekler / gercek yalanlar

Yalan gercekler / gercek yalanlar
Fake Truths / True Lies

Oturup birbirimize yalan söyledik
Aslında ben ona inanmadım o da bana
İnanmış gibi saygıyla birbirimizi dinledik
Aslında ben ona inanmadım o da bana

We sat down and lied to each other
In fact I didnt believe her, nor did she believe me
Pretending to believe, respectfully we listened to each other
In fact I didnt believe her, nor did she believe me

Onunda benimde sınırlarımız vardı zorlayamazdık
Gercekler acıydı zaten söyleyemezdik
Oturup saygıyla birbirimizin yalanlarını dinledik
Aslında ben ona inanmadım o da bana

She had her limits, I had mine too, which we couldnt cross
The truths were already sad, we couldnt confess
We sat down and respectfully listened to our lies
In fact I didnt believe her, nor did she believe me

She had nothing to lose, but I had a lot
Though she was ready to be offended; in my genes, being offensive was not
Though reuniting was a lie, break up was a truth
In fact I didnt believe her, nor did she believe me

false truths / true falses

We sat down and told lies to eachother
In reality, i did not believe him, neither did he
as if believed, we listened to eachother with respect
In reality, i did not believe him, neither did he

We both had limits which we could not force
truths were painful anyway, so we could not tell
We sat down and listened to eachother's lies with respect
In reality, i did not believe him, neither did he

he had nothing to lose whereas I had a lot
though he would risk to get hurt, but hurting people were not in my genes
although coming together was a lie, seperation become reality
I pretended I believed him, so did he..

my try
