I am taking a Turkish course in Ankara this fall, at the Kizilay Branch. There are of course many hotels in the area but I would like to know if anyone could recommend a place. Can't be too expensive since I am staying more than 4 weeks.

Hei!

I stayed at Metropol Hotel, right in the city centre very close to Kizilay. I remember paying 30E/night for B&B and the hotel was very clean and nice. Probably, if you email them and ask for a special offer they'll give you a discount as you're planning to stay there for a longer time.

Ha det bra

Thanks a lot! I'll check that out. I can see that you know Norwegian also. Tusen takk og ha det bra. Hilsen Öystein i Olleveien

Is there anyone who have more recommendations for a hotel in Kizilay or GOP? It is pretty urgent as I am on my way on the bus right now. Just found out that we won´t be there until 12.30 am so it wouldn´t be so fun having to find a place at that time. I am looking for a resonable cheap place as we will be staying there for just about half a day but of course it needs to be decent and have a bathroom in the room.
Hope someone can help
