Hiç bir zaman = never/ Hiç bir zaman onutmadim = I never forget you.

Tamam ama/ In English(American) I can't picutre saying it that way. /I will never forget you or I can't ever forget you/ These are normal ways to end that sentence.(I understand your tranlation but it is literal.)

Tamam ama/ In English(American) we don't say it that way. /I will never forget you or I can't ever forget you/ These are normal ways to end that sentence.

Ermm - I AM English and I would never say NOT ONE TIME CAN I FORGET YOU. I never forget you = 'you are always on my mind' - which is why I put that but it could also be translated as 'I didn't forget you' in answer to 'have you forgotten me?'

Interesting. Turkish grammar is taking hold. By the way, the island is Britain unless you are English as defined by decending from the Angles Saxons or Jutes that invaded in the 8th Century which DNAwise are small minority there.

Excuse me?? There is no such thing as the ISLAND OF BRITAIN actually - the islandS are known as GREAT Britain - and I am quite entitled to describe myself as 'English' as the country of England is where I was born and where I learnt to speak English not British.

GREAT Britain is not one country consisting of the 'provinces' or 'states' of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland as some of our 'cousins' seem to think. Either that or they can't even tell one from the other, giving rise to comments like 'Geez you come from Scot-land, what part of England is that in??? '

And I have no idea whether or not I am DESCENDED from Anglo-Saxons or Jutes and unlike most Americans who seem obsessed with their heritage - I don't particularly care (shock! horror!) although I believe my grandfather's brother did trace our family tree back to before the time of Henry VIII (he was a King).

I do not mean to be rude, however technically there is no such thing as Anglo-saxon.
