I find it hard to trust men especially turkish men now, because my last boyfriend changed. He was lovely before and then changed the next time i saw him. If I was to go on holiday and meet someone, I would be scared. Do you understand me? He was my first love and always will be. I feel I have to move on now even though it is very hard for me. What do you think?

Laura, I think i know you quite well by now.. so I think i can just tell you these in honesty. I will give you some phrases from one of my favourite Shakespeare's sonnets. Maybe they are kinda painful, then I am sorry, maybe they are a cold, scant comfort.. then use it

Love is not love Which alters when it alteration finds.

The love changed when the both of your circumstances changed. You went back to UK, he stayed there, met up with other girls because of his job. Maybe he never meant to fall in love with you, maybe he never really loved you..because after all, it changed. Love is not love if it changes when it's circumstances change..

Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks, But bears it out even to the edge of doom.

Love doesn't change within time, but it lasts untill the end of life. If this didn't last, maybe it was never true love.

At the end of Sonnet 116, Shakespeare says that if these about love turn out to be untrue, either he never wrote this, either no man has ever truly loved. I believe in what he says.

Love is a too delicate subject to talk about actually.. Maybe what you and Musti felt was love, but maybe not the love that Shakespeare talks about.

You can cry over these.. and I know you long enough to be sure you will. I would too Ağlamak güzeldir (It's beautiful to cry), so don't worry about that. But smile through your tears and know that this means that the best is yet to come.

Go on holiday and enjoy every minute of it. Don't expect someone to love you forever, just love them because they love you now. Don't you give away your heart too fast, when it is true you'll be 'old and wise' enough to recognise it and you'll be able to give all of yourself.

Don't forget Musti as he gave you a lovely time. Just go on and wait till suddenly someone is able to make you feel even more special

Quoting LauzBrownEyedBe:

i feel it was my first love but maybe not true love :S.. I dont know

I think I didn't explain well enough what i meant, due to too little knowledge of English and just an uncapable brain to talk about love

Maybe it was love Maybe he was also sincere in his feelings. But maybe it was a different kind of love than the one Shakespeare talks about. And it is also possible your feelings were true love and his weren't.

But half love doesn't make a couple and 4 feet on 1 bed doesn't make a marriage.

Now I got to get back to my scription () I always use TurkishClass.com as my study-break.. my tea has run cold so i guess i better go on writing about Virgil.
