Now I see that the point of Yilgun-7's post was to alert people to the presence of an army of ageing ex-pat spies in Turkey. I think he should be very, very careful from now on

But why are they all 'suddenly' buying houses in Turkey?

What is going to happen, when they have majority in those towns and they want to have a British major?

And then, what if that British mayor decides to change the name of the streets to Churchill Street or something like that? What if we can not do anything because of EU laws in the that type of case?
I heard the rumors most of them having laptops with adsl connections, who knows what they are doing with those or where they are accessing or to whom they are sending messages? to MI6, MI5, CIA, Mossad?
What if these retired people hiding Kalashnikovs under their sofas?
many questions need to be answered!

As a Turkish person* I am very happy to seeing this demand situation. Because nobody is carrying away piggyback our territories anywhere, but they are coming Here with their culture, life style, and MONEY. The osmosis between those matters (culture, life style and money) is unavoidable and according to me it is not bad. Our territories are just standing on its place, and our rules going on, so what does it mean this conspiracy theories. Remember that, this territories (and people) are Ottoman's heritor and trained to living (and ruling) with multiple cultures and races.

*thx to sonunda
