Taylan Tegin established the Turkuvaz Art Gallery in 1980. It is the oldest extant gallery in Ankara. Taylan Tegin is one of the founding members and a former president of the Turkish Art Galleries Association (TÃœSGAD). TÃœSGAD has a current membership of 30 galleries from Ankara and Istanbul. Sema Bicik was born in Osmaniye in 1959 and graduated from Mimar Sinan University. Her first personal exhibition was at the Turkuvaz Art Gallery.
