Herkes selam,

1)When i want to express possession, should i use (benim, senin, onun, bizim, sizin, onalrın) before the noun/adjective then the appropriate suffix? or i may only use the noun/adjective + suffix? and if the later case is correct, how can i differentiate between 'my' and 'I am'?

Example:
To say my beautiful: benim güzelim or just güzelim.
If i say just güzelim how can you know whether i mean 'my beautiful' or 'I am beautiful'?

2)How to say 'you are my friend'?

Thanx.

There is no difference between them but in context you would know.
For example if you start a letter with 'güzelim' it doesn't seem likely that you would be saying 'I am beautiful' but more likely 'my beautiful' but you can use benim as well.
Another example would be
(benim)sekreterim-my secretary
OR (ben)sekreterim-I am a secretary. It would probably be obvious which one was meant.

2)you are my friend-arkadaşımsın.

If you say 'sen arkadaşımsın' it means YOU are my friend.

This is how I understand things anyway.

Same like sonunda said, you would understand it from the sentence
Also, you can use (benim, senin, onun, bizim, sizin, onalrın)if you like,it wont be wrong, but they usually drop it and dont use it in Turkish, and just use the suffix
But if you used them,it wont be wrong also
