Has anyone travelled to Turkey from London by train if so what's the journey like - is it interesting or not?

i have, there are several ways so it looks like i'll be having a better birthday this year even though it is in the winter. i just need to save up for it, I think it'll be nice to actually see the other countries

Oh i love trains!

I had travelled from Austria to Greece by train with visiting Belgrade!

It was marvellous...

I wanted to come to Turkey by train also, but it was 7 hours difference so i chose bus there...


You should try it!! But dont forget to bring your books and your laptop for uploading the pictures you take from your digital camera

it takes 3-4 days from London but there are several ways to get there. So a lot of countries to visit, which makes it more interesting to me. I certainly will take your dvice about the laptop, I'll take loads of photos
