Some shorter texts which are easier to understand could be in Turkish only. If the text is longer like the one above it could have the translation as well. If a text is in Turkish and doesnt have the Turkish characters I think it doesnt serve any educational purpose. If you are writing in Turkish at least use Turkish characters and keep the sentences simple by avoiding difficult and less common words and writing in short sentences.

If you don't have a Turkish keyboard you can use the buttons on top that appear when you type any forum message.

I consider (as do many historians) Ataturk do be one of the most outstanding statesmen of that time. When you think of what he achieved you still wonder HOW did he manage to that.

The Ottoman Empire had been in constant war for many years. In 1911-1912 the Ottoman Empire had a war against Italy over Libya, straight after that war the Ottoman Empire had to fight in the first Balkan war and then immediately after that they fought in the second Balkan war. Not so long after the second Balkan war the Ottoman Empire fought in the first world war. Then after the defeat and after 12/13 years of constant fighting Ataturk managed to commanded an army that defeated the Armenians, Greeks, French, Italians, British and Americans.

He restored dignity to the Turkish people and set the Turkish nation on the path to great things.

A very small and petty criticism:

I wish he had not banned the fez. I understand why he did it.

The fez is the coolest hat in the world. Turks stopped wearing fezes, and now the fez is more-or-less owned by old men in an American charitable organization who also drive in parades in little tiny toy cars.

I own two fezes.
