Modifying: I just got a PM of a shocked member about my vulgair language so I won´t write the word down, but try the dictionary on this site (on the left) and you´ll find a synonym for the word you are looking for.

To be honest, Turks are much more polite that we are in Britain.
So using what to us is a mild term can often be very insulting.
e.g. calling someone aptal (stupid) would create the same shock waves in polite Turkish society as using dickhead in English. Calling them manyak (a maniac) is even worse.
Only very uncouth people would use the equivalent of dickhead, and probably then the person they used it too would never speak to them for the rest of their life!
