Pls could anyone helop translate this SMS for me? Would be very greatful.

"I am fine. How are you?

Mansur said he didn’t know when he would be off duty and could speak to me, so he would call me. Is he ok? How is new place for him?  I have sent him a letter.

Please send my greetings to your mother and the rest of your family. My family send you all greetings.

Glad you are all having a good holiday.  I am looking forward to mine in September.

It is very hard to become Police Officer. I have also applied for two other jobs in the police. VERY good jobs with more money. One job would be better then being Police Officer I think, but will see what happens. keeping all options open.

Hopefully will see you in four weeks time. Mansur putting papers in this week for leave request"

Sorry its so long, tried to shorten it as much as I can. Any help would be grateful even if paragraphs translated by different people as I know its alot to ask just one person. Many thanks in advance.

SMS means short message service, used on phones.

Or I´m guessing this might be a sarcastic way of questioning whether it should be a LMS

(Long message service)

Anyway I can help with translating the first line

İyiyim, nasılsın?

sorry cab2007, I was suggesting that gordios might have been sarcastic with the "sms?" response.

-And sorry if i am missunderstood,i was just amased to see that long message and i had tought it was just an sms.
