If I had known you were so interested in living abroad we could have gone together.  Seven generations (or seven of my relatives) were in London!  I say to you what is missing in me.  I am an OK girl.  From a financial point of view my family is one of the important ones in Izmir.  I REALISED LATER THAT THE ONLY THING MISSING IN ME IS YOUR LOVE. MY DARLING YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO WHOM YOU WILL GIVE YOUR LOVE AND I HAVE NO RIGHT TO BLAME YOU I cried so many lovely tears for you that 6 months ago I cried. Find your things ... I loved your mum, your dad and Halılı so much that no matter what they do I can´t forget them (if I see your sweet mother again I will kiss her hands) anyway there are so many things I wanted to explain to you that don´t come to my mind

Actually Kouklos, the letter is very old and it doesn´t make me sad...it just makes me understand certain things slowly but surely and gives me another perspective. This woman is a full blown stalker, and now I see why... obsessive love can be such a strange and destructive thing. I think she is hurting herself...and I do sympathize with her but at this point I don´t think her current behaviour can be justified...har behavioiur at this point has nothing to do with love...

So Sui, se efxome omorfi agapi stin zoi sou kai se efxome kalimera.
Tha ta poume ksana.

Just a beginner´s question :

Characters in this lovely letter {#lang_emotions_rolleyes} are not the modern form I learn or read in newspaper.

For instance ´ı´ and ´i´ seem to lead to a unique ´ý´ which would make pronounciation

more difficult.

I have read that Turkey started to use the Latin characters in 1923 but haven´t read about two phases. Could someone tell me when this alphabet was in use or when were the current one introduced in Turkish language ?

The funny y is the character that computers that don´t recognise Turkish characters produce in place of an ı.  A funny backwards p thing replaces the ş in the same way.  It can be annoying until you get used to it!
