Hi everyone! I need ur help! I like the following song very much but I can´t translate it correctly. Could anyone do it? plzzzz. It´s song from "Kurtlar Vadisi - Pusu".

Thanks alot beforehand

Quote:

Bu şehir girdap gülüm
Girdapta mehtap gülüm

Feleğin bir suyu var
Su değil kezzap gülüm

Yezidin harcı zulüm
Yiğidin burcu ölüm

Feleğe dayandım gülüm
Öldüm de uyandım gülüm

well, i tried to translate it into turkish. yeah here it is:

this city is a whirl, rose

(this city is) a moon light on a whirl, rose

destiny has a water*

(this is) not a water, is a nitric asid*, rose

bad man´s* duty is cruelty

hero´s end* is death

i survive (whatever happens), rose

i died then i woke up, rose

----------------

-rose: "my rose" it can be. "my rose" is a form of address like "my love" or "darling".

-water:"su" means "water" in the first sentence. in the second sentence "su" is used for the meaning of "liquid".

-nitric asid:"kezzap" is a word that is used mostly in the lyrics and poems in turkish. don´t be surprised

-bad man: "yezid" is an ottoman word so i couldn´t find the translation of it in english. i looked at up an ottoman dictionary of mine. "yezid" is used for the people who are dishonest, twofaced, deceitful etc.

-end: "burc" has two meanings. first is "tower". second is "zodiac". well, i gave the meaning "end" for "burc" because tower and zodiac gives the meanings of "the end that has been reached".

-i survive whatever happens: "feleğe dayandım" is an idiom in turkish and i don´t know the exact idiom in english about it. but simply it means "i survive whatever happens".

-i died then i woke up: it is another idiom in turkish. it simply means that the singer is experienced about life, lived so many things, got over so many adventures, also about to die but his/her cleverness achieved every problems.

ps:kurtlar vadisi is not a turkish serial i prefer. but the song´s lyrics is good actually.
