pmitride,

There is a sticky thread under this forum section called "useful links for learners". In that thread you can find a few more useful links besides verbix. Cheers.

Sorry, I hadn´t explored those threads. It´s really useful indeed, would be worth a special link.

I have a question.

I have used this Verbix site for the verb conjugation for "I am not singing" and looked up söylemek (in the present continuous negative statement) and it gave

"söylemüyorum"

A Turkish friend corrected me with şarkı "soylemiyorum"

Which one is correct?

Söylemiyorum is the correct one

Accourding to the vowel harmony here, mı the nagative suffix will change to mi

Thanks CANLI, I originally worked out söyle+me+iyor+um=söylemiyorum

but looked up the Verbix website to check, and it now looks like there may be errors.

Hello Henry,

Verbix gives an incorrect conjugation. Try winmekmak:

http://ipb.nu/winmekmak/

I have helped a little to improve winmekmak and I know that this program works very good. It can also go from conjugation to stem.

edit: Canlı, missed your post.

Thanks erdinc, I tried using winmekmak "ama maalesef" my computer is a Mac running OS X and it won´t load the software.

Also a big thanks for all your work for the Beginner´s classes, and the lengthy explanations that help with our understanding.
