I noticed on the Turkish web-sites with references to the Olympics mentioned the city Pekin (Peking) and not Beijing. Has Turkey stayed with the old place name.
Secondly, what is the Turkish word for the Paralympics, the games for the disabled athletes?

What makes you think that we should drop the established "Pekin" usage and accept the English spelling instead? What´s next? Drop "Londra" and accept London?
On the other hand, they refuse to use "Turkia" instead of Turkey.
