Despite rapid growth and new investment, Ankara´s traditionalist Keçiören district is increasingly becoming synonymous with violence due to a ban on alcohol and intolerance toward those not outwardly religious.
With its population close to 1 million, Keçiören, where Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan resides, is Ankara´s largest and Turkey´s second-largest district in terms of population density.

I have been to Ankara but I didn´t found it that religious (like e.g. Erzurum and Şanlıurfa are!). I must say I don´t know that area. Can anyone tell more, please?
