Similarities between Qur´an & Bible

The Qur´an retells stories of many of the people and events recorded in the Bible, although it differs in many details. Well-known Biblical characters such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and John the Baptist are mentioned in the Qur´an as prophets of Islam (as well as many others). The story of the creation, Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, and the Flood of Noah are almost identical. Due to this Biblical Creationism and Islamic Creationism are closely comparable and find few points of contention.
The Qur´an mentions the Bible and Torah in several places.
- "Say, ´Anyone who opposes Gabriel should know that he has brought down this (the Qur´an) into your heart, in accordance with God´s will, confirming previous scriptures, and providing guidance and good news for the believers´" (Sura 2:97).

Most of the stories both in Bible and Kuran are plaigarized from the Gilgamesh epic of Sumerians, so it`s meaningless to argue that Kuran got all its stuff from Bible. They both are fake.

I am pleased to see the word story is mentioned several times!

Fake? Quran and Bible?
I am not sure about Bible, but the Quran is not fake. I hope that I misunderstood what you meant.

How can you be so sure of that? Because that is what you believe in, or because you have proof that it is original without any ´copy-paste´ from earlier writings, stories, tales?
