His skin color has nothing to do with the politics!
Just the fact that people accept him running for president is very good. That took racism out of the question. Now it is all down to picking who is most suitable, which has sort of turned into picking the best out of the worst. I was first very impressed by Obama, but it didn´t take him long to make me think differently.

That is exactly my point! If it was about his skin color would he gain so many votes from (say racist) americans?

That didn´t take anything out of the question. Racism in today´s america is not the same racism that it was 50 years ago. If you support racist, sexist institutions, they don´t have a problem with electing a black person or a woman!
