I will ring you this evening

How wrong have I got this??{#lang_emotions_head_bang}

İts from aramak,it has many usage one of them is to call,ring.

ararim,is the simple present tense

Yes, dictionaries say it means to seek or hunt, but I can only remember hearing it used just as Canli says, like "telefonda aramak"  to call on the phone.

I am note sure what you were trying to do with "etek"  "eteğim" means "my skirt" or a covering.

 

If you meant to use etmek, like "senin telefon eteceğim"  "make yourphone" a Turk "might" understand where you were going, but Canlis translation  is a very normal way to say it.

 The t in etmek becomes a d for future tense.

 

telefon edeceğim: I will telephone

 

Aramak is more natural.  or telefon açacağım.
