Activities in Ankara

Hello,
Maybe anyone can suggest me what could i do in Ankara to spend the time? I am not talking about working. A Church Choir would do great but i think it cant be, right?
That activity should be for free, can be doing something voluntary...

I know there is an international church in Ankara. I will try to get you the details ... maybe they have a choir!

I will ask around. I have many friends in Ankara (only just saw this thread). I have a friend who is in the ´administration´ of the international students organisation AEGEE. Not sure if you ened to be a student to be in it, but they organize meetings that can help you also get to know some turkish people in ankara and learn about Turkey.

Try Tango. I havent been to turkey but my husband is a good tango dancer and he says Tango is becoming very popular in Turkey. At least that´s what he´s been told, he hasnt been to Turkey either 
They are having an international tango festival in Istanbul in july 2009.

i find gloss is the most exciting one to watch........as you can get high on the fumes

He could find an internet cafe and read the stimulating discussions that take place between the intelligent and informed members of TC.
