Ararat = AĞRI DAĞI ( Ağrı iline bağlı, Doğu Beyazıt ilçesinde, Türkiye-İran sınırında) =Mount Ararat.

Yaşar Kemal, a Turkish novelist, wrote a novel on Ağrı Dağı.Its name is "AĞRI DAĞI EFSANESİ" = "THE LEGEND OF MOUNT AĞRI".Read this great novel if you like literature. An advice.

A bit political ... Armenia disputes the border with Turkey, claiming that Ararat is its national symbol.  Of course Ararat (ağrı Dağı lies within the lands of the Turkish Republic.
