A new book is out called "Can´t Be Arsed - 103 Things NOT to do before you die".  I love this idea and am sick of a certain type of person enthusing that you SIMPLY MUST try something....

The list of "don´t bothers" includes:-

• Climb Mount Everest
• Run a Marathon
• Be completely honest with your partner
• Visit the Taj Mahal
• Read ´War and Peace´
• Sky dive
• Suck up to God
• Master every position in the kamasutra

I would add:-

• Eat caviar
• Join a gym
• Listen to any song by Celine Dion
• Try Bird´s Nest Soup

Any more?

OK...this is my list of "don´t bothers"  and it is strickly from personal experience:

*giving advice and expect people to actually do it

*hoping that people will change

*trying to cover pimples with make up (just makes them look worse)

*trying to take a cruise if you get motion sick (those sea sick patches make you feel stupid)

*kissing up to your boss (if they really like you, you won´t have to)

Don´t bother...

1.) Watering your lawn...only to receive a high water bill & most likely your lawn will be brown after a few days anyhow.

2.) Buying expensive panty hose..they ALL get runners.

3.) Trying to think of that perfect present for someone..just give a gift card instead.

I think he also included ´don´t bother learning a foreign language´ !!
