How long does it take for mailing someone in Turkey to arrive at the destination in anywhere in Turkey? please.

Is it reliable.

Hi Angela,

I posted something in Turkey last week to another destination in Turkey and it arrived in 4 days. I often post things from England and they can take anything up to 4 weeks, depending on where they are going. The post arrives at a big city and then is sent on to the final destinations. I have always found it reliable (if slow), but I did send something to Istanbul about 4 weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. I hope it does eventually! Good Luck!

Yes, Lyndie,

It seems to take a long time to arrive. I have sent something by registered post. It will be 3 weeks on Thursday. If it is cash to send it is better by Western Union and can be picked up within the hour.

The charge is not a great amount more than registered mail, but I think worth it. No wondering if it is going to arrive or not!

Hello,
For sending money try Money Gram. It is better then Western Union. The charge is less and money will be there in less than 5 minutes. With packages it is harder. It is good idea to send inshured. You never know. It takes long because going through customs in Turkey.
Good luck.

Bliss,

Thankyou for this information. I will note this for future reference.

Wonderful when you think it can be collected in less than 5 minutes.

I will look this up.

Hi Bliss,

I have looked Money Gram up. Have you to pay by card over internet, as I do not like that method.

Wester Union gave a telephone number and I paid by card this way.

I looked for a telephone number for Money Gram?
