My friend replied to my question whether he had delivered something to Ayþe, with the

following sms:

´Henüz Ayþe´le´

is he saying:

1  it´s already with Ayþe

2  it´s still with Ayþe

3  Ayþe does not have it yet

And in what way is ´henüz´ mostly used (please give some examples)

Regard

Well, it depends on how the sentence continuous, but if it was something like this:

Henüz Ayþe´le görüþmedim.

Then

I haben´t met Ayþe yet..

Sorry, the sms was saying:  Ayþe´le henüz (i switched the words by accident).

Would that change anything to the meaning?

Ayþe´le henüz

might mean

Still with Ayþe i.e. I am/He is still with Ayþe

if it was in answer to a Q like "Where are you?  Have you come home yet?" Or "Has Mehmet got a new girlfriend?"
