Merhaba!

Could someone please tell me if my translation attempt of Hayko Cepkin´s "Senin Ki Dert Mi" is right? Corrections are most likely needed for the second verse because I have yet to get that far with learning some grammar used.

Çok teþekkürler!!

Senin Ki Dert Mi

Not really sure how to phrase this in English. Something about ´your sorrow/worry´???

Ýçimden bir ses
Uyanma diyor
Baþlayan herþey
Þimdi bitiyor

From inside of me a voice

Says not to wake up

Everything that has started

Is ending now

Susamýþ dilim
Bir damla su verdi
Seven sen olunca
Uyanmak istedim

You gave my thirsty tongue

A drop of water

But when there is a love like you (??????????)

I wanted to wake up

My tongue got thirsty

You gave a drop of water

When it is you who loves

I wanted to wake up

 I think better this way

Agree. One of the best ways to learn! (if you use ´good´ lyrics )

Yes! That is definitely true. I pretty much learned German through good music, and I am completely fluent in that, so I am hoping that I can really improve my Turkish by using the same method..though I do have a private Turkish teacher now...so the mix of her lessons and music lyrics should be great! ^_^
